Jiomart is a dream project of Mukesh Ambani. Jiomart was started in December 2019, so now, this company is not very old. In OCT 2022 I had to buy my MacBook Air. I first checked the prices on Croma, Amazon, and Flipkart. But the Big Billion Days sale was over, so now the prices of laptops had increased on all the websites. Then I searched for the product on Google. I came to know about Reliance Digital and Jiomart only on Google.
I was getting a good discount on Macbook Air on Jiomart. That’s why I had made up my mind to buy a laptop on Jiomart itself. But I thought it necessary to read the reviews of Jiomart first. Well, I knew that Jiomart is a legit website, and anyway how Mukesh Ambani’s website can be a scam.
But when I read the reviews of Jiomart, I was surprised, most of the reviews were not good. And most of the people believed that they were facing difficulties in getting the refund. But I did not pay much attention to all these reviews and placed my order on 19 Oct. I got an additional discount of 7000 for using an HDFC credit card which was a good deal.
My product was to be delivered on 21st OCT and I was going back to my hometown on 21st evening itself. But due to some reason, my product could not be delivered on 21st. And I also had to go home for some important work, so I left for my home town in the evening itself. On the 22nd of afternoon, I get a call from the delivery boy and I get the product returned.
So in this way, my product was not delivered at all. I had already paid so now I should have gotten the refund sooner. Your refund is transferred to your account within 7 working days of returning as per Jiomart’s policy. But today is 15th November and to date, my refund has not been transferred to my account. Till now I think I have called Jiomart customer support more than 10 times. And I have talked on chaat at least 10 times. But till now I have not got anything other than assurance. Now I feel that I will have to pay the credit card bill also. I have not even bought any product and I have to pay a bill of around 85,000 INR.
So if we talk about the service of Jiomart, then I want to give them a 0-star rating out of 10. I have not seen such dirty service to date. I have done a lot of shopping on Flipkart and Amazon and to date, I have not faced any kind of problem. But for the first time, I shopped on another online shopping website and my experience was very bad. I did not expect such service from Jiomart. Due to this, the name of Jiomart is getting spoiled. If Mukesh Ambani’s company will provide such a service then what can we expect from small startup companies?
Right now I will wait for the refund only this week and if I do not get my refund then I will file a case against Jiomart in the consumer court and will take legal action against them.
